1. Collared peccaries are generally found in bands of eight to 15 animals of various ages.2. A collared peccary will release a strong musk or give a sharp bark if it is alarmed. 3. Other mammals include the American black bear, collared peccary , grey fox and white-nosed coati. 4. They include collared peccary , ground squirrels, mule deer, black-tailed jackrabbit and the desert cottontail. 5. The plant makes up a large part of the diet of the collared peccary ( javelina ) in some areas. 6. Greater roadrunners, collared peccaries , white-tailed deer and black-tailed jackrabbits also exist within the park. 7. Mammals found near the station in the mantled howler monkey, the white-throated capuchin, and the collared peccary . 8. Awa hunt games such as the Central American Agouti, paca, collared peccary , brocket deer, iguana, and several birds. 9. Among the creatures I've encountered in Arizona, the javelina ( actually, a collared peccary ) draws much of my fascination. 10. Two peccary species are recorded from Bladen, the collared peccary ( Tayassu tajacu ) and the white-lipped peccary ( Dicotyles pecari ).
